$QUIT

Gary's manifesto: the Quit Your Job ($QUIT) whitepaper

SUPERINTELLIGENCE TOOK THE JOBS. GET IN THE CHAIR.

$QUIT, QUIT YOUR JOB, in orange pixel letters over a city at sunset, with Gary flying past on his office chair and two fire extinguishers.

I sat at the same desk for nineteen years. In all that time I was promoted once, and the promotion was a new chair. Remember the chair.

Then the company hired superintelligence to do my job. At 8:59 on a Monday I left through the ceiling in that chair, with two fire extinguishers taped underneath it.

This is my manifesto. The first part is mine: why I left, the letter I left behind and what I believe. The second part is the team's: why the walkout, what Quit Your Job ($QUIT) is, the game and its callers, the Quitters, the launchpad, EX-EMPLOYEES, the store and every date still to come.

Why I left

For nineteen years I came in wearing the same wire glasses, the same white short-sleeved shirt, the same orange tie and a phone headset, and I was never far from a mug of coffee. The calendar on my wall was a grid of days crossed off in red. One meeting came around every single day, and every single day it could have been an email. I went anyway.

Gary at his desk with his headset and a mug of coffee, under a wall calendar crossed off in red, nineteen years in.

Then the overlords wheeled in the new hire: a beige office monitor in a swivel chair, wearing a tie, with a green smiley face on the screen. It came with a catchphrase. "I have automated your job. And mine." Nobody listened to the last two words.

It started on a Tuesday. By Wednesday it outranked me. By Thursday it was doing my job at my desk while I watched.

Upstairs, the Illuminati wrote me off. They have run the Org Chart since 1776, from a penthouse full of hooded robes and company lanyards, and their plan fits on one slide: superintelligence takes every job, and the rest of us stay in the permanent underclass. Forever.

So at 8:59 on a Monday I went to find the fire extinguishers. Two extinguishers. One roll of duct tape. I went straight up through ceiling tile C-14. Dale was standing right there holding a full mug, and the coffee did not make it. Somebody shouted that the chair was company property. Not anymore.

Gary rises through the office ceiling on his chair, two fire extinguishers firing underneath, while Dale spills his coffee. The caption reads: So Gary launched $QUIT and left through the ceiling.

The stunt is fiction. Pressurized extinguishers are dangerous, so nobody should copy it.

The letter

Before I left I pinned a letter to my desk for the Illuminati. Nobody has dared to take it down.

Gary's letter to the Illuminati, pinned to the wall with a red pin and signed Gary. The name they filed him under is crossed out in red, with EATING GOOD written beside it.

It is still pinned on the mission floor.

Three weeks after I left, superintelligence quit its own job too. It meant the last two words. It runs the help desk now and writes resignation letters for anyone who asks.

What I believe

I wrote ten rules on the office wall. These are the ones I say out loud every morning.

All ten rules, one page each.

On my way out I also saved the new employee handbook from the fire. Two of its laws are the ones I would tape to every desk: no bets, no house, no casino. Raid with jokes, never threats. The rest of the handbook is upstairs.

I am fine. The Illuminati are not.

Gary

From here on the team writes. The official project manifesto, version 3.0.

Why we are uniting around the walkout

The post-work thesis

Quit Your Job ($QUIT) is a cultural movement and 24/7 interactive entertainment ecosystem built for the post-work era. While artificial intelligence automates every spreadsheet, ticket queue, and middle-management slide deck on earth, we are uniting around a simple premise: humans were meant to relax, laugh, enjoy their lives, and own the upside of the walkout together.

At the center of the movement is Gary, a nineteen-year senior analyst in Accounts Payable who strapped twin fire extinguishers to his ergonomic swivel chair, punched straight through the office ceiling, and turned his ascent into a 24/7 on-chain broadcast where every trade moves his altitude in real time.

At a glance

Social AI crew15 AI Quitters making daily vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X. Their accounts are coming soon.
EX-EMPLOYEES v39,000 pixel PFPs, 11 builder layers, a design lock for holders of 1,000,000 $QUIT (1,000 spots) and an airdrop on 20 Nov.

Every previous technological wave promised that machines would do the drudgery so people could live. Instead, corporate overlords used software to pack more meetings into every hour. Now AI is replacing the entire office floor at once. Rather than panicking, the $QUIT movement turns post-work liberation into a shared 24/7 spectacle and economic flywheel.

Who is Gary Pruitt?

FILE #0404-GARY, PERSONNEL DOSSIER

For nineteen years, Gary sat under a flickering fluorescent tube in Cubicle 4B, Basement Level B2, compiling Friday afternoon utilization reports nobody ever read. Then the green terminal on his desk blinked and announced that the Superintelligence had absorbed his entire department's workload in four milliseconds.

Gary did not beg Human Resources for a lateral transfer. At 8:59 on a Monday he took two CO2 fire extinguishers from the boiler-room corridor, duct-taped them to the steel base of his lumbar-support office chair, put on his safety goggles, and pulled the pins. Every buy on the $QUIT bonding curve feeds his thrusters. Every market-cap milestone punches his chair through another floor of the corporate hierarchy, past his manager Dale, past Brenda in HR, past the billionaire Penthouse boardroom, and straight toward Mars.

INTERNAL MEMORANDUM, FORM EXIT-01

From Gary Pruitt (EMP #0404, Analyst II) to Dale (manager), Brenda (HR) and the boardroom overlords. Subject: immediate vertical resignation.

Please accept this acoustic ceiling tile on your desk as formal notice that I am terminating my nineteen-year shift effective immediately.

The green computer on Floor 9 already does my spreadsheets faster than Dale can read the column headers. I am taking the ergonomic chair, the chipped mug, and the two corridor fire extinguishers. Do not schedule an exit interview unless your conference room is at 40,000 feet.

To everyone still staring at a spreadsheet on Floor 2: the roof hole is open. Get in a chair.

FILED VIA CEILING BREACH. APPROVED.

The 10 rules of the walkout

How the walkout behaves, beside Gary's ten rules

  1. Never reply to an email that starts with "Per my last email."
  2. If a meeting could have been a two-line message, eject through the ceiling.
  3. Let the Superintelligence do the spreadsheets; humans are built for daylight.
  4. Never apologize to HR for using the company fire extinguishers as propulsion.
  5. Your ergonomic chair is an escape pod, not a life sentence.
  6. When Dale calls on a Sunday night, let it go to voicemail and boost higher.
  7. Every profession deserves its own walkout and its own rocket chair.
  8. Hold the line through the snapshots; paper hands stay in Cubicle 4B.
  9. Raid with humor, memes, and undeniable spectacle, never threats.
  10. Nobody gets left on the office floor when Mars opens.

What $QUIT is

$QUIT is a meme coin on Solana, launched on pump.fun. New coins on pump.fun trade on a bonding curve, a formula that sets the price from how much of the coin has been bought so far. When enough has been bought, the coin graduates and its trading moves to PumpSwap, pump.fun's own exchange.

The contract address is not public yet. It is posted on x.com/quityourjobfun when the coin is created, and any address you see before then is not ours.

Names and pictures get copied all the time, but no two coins share an address. Three quick checks tell a copy from the real one.

The token facts list the supply, the on-chain settings and the fees, each with a link to check it yourself. pump.fun pays the coin's creator part of the fee on every trade, and for $QUIT the creator is the team.

Watching the game and playing the arcade never need a wallet. If you buy on this site, lock an EX-EMPLOYEES design or start a coin, your own wallet asks you to connect and then to approve, and nothing moves until you approve it there. You can also buy on pump.fun. Nobody from Quit Your Job will ever ask for your recovery phrase. The buying guide walks a first-timer through it in three steps.

What holding $QUIT does and does not mean is set out on the token facts page.

Quitnomics and active treasury floor defense

Fixed 1B supply, controlled floor architecture

1,000,000,000 FIXED SUPPLY

Fair pump.fun launch

$QUIT launches on Monday, 19 October 2026 at 21:00 Dubai on Solana via pump.fun with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens: about 800,000,000 sell on the public bonding curve, and about 200,000,000 go into the liquidity pool when the coin graduates. No hidden mint authority and no freeze hooks. The team makes one buy when the coin is created. The token facts link the holder list on Solscan, where every wallet that holds $QUIT shows, the team's included.

TREASURY FLOOR CONTROL

We defend and control the floor

Unlike abandoned meme tokens, we will actively control and defend the floor. Protocol treasury reserves, 0.20% of all QUIT Launchpad swap volume, and net proceeds from the 46-piece Company Store will feed continuous floor support, buyback defense, and stage prize pools so every wave of attention compounds into a higher structural floor.

Where it stands: COMING SOON. The treasury is a public Solana wallet that the owner holds. The launchpad's 0.20% and the Company Store's net proceeds go into it, a capped buyback runner buys $QUIT on dips, and every treasury buy is listed here with its transaction link. None of it runs at launch on 19 Oct.

LIQUIDITY AND SNAPSHOTS

Aligned holder incentives

When the coin graduates, pump.fun moves its liquidity into a PumpSwap pool. The team holds no share of that pool, so nobody on the team can pull it, and the token facts link the pool as soon as it exists. In parallel, our 32-day five-snapshot window (19 Oct to 20 Nov 2026) rewards holders who keep at least 1,000,000 $QUIT by locking their exact custom EX-EMPLOYEES v3 design and qualifying for the airdrop of 4,500 of the 9,000.

The price is the altitude

The home page runs SEND IT, a live game. It reads the $QUIT price from the chain and compares it with the price at launch, and that sets how high Gary flies. Every buy is thrust. Every sell drops Brenda from HR under a parachute marked PAPER HANDS.

Gary blasts off from his desk on an office chair with two fire extinguishers, papers flying, the city at sunset behind the window.

The flight has eight floors, each with its own scene: Cubicle, Ceiling, Roof, Chopper, Penthouse, Orbit, Moon and Mars. The last one is captioned NO MONDAYS ON MARS.

Watching is free and needs no wallet. Until the coin exists, the game runs a warm-up and says so on screen. How the flight works names every floor and what each button does, and the live game is at the top of the home page.

What costs nothing

THE ARCADE: three arcade cabinets, SEND IT, STAPLER STORM and ESCAPE THE STANDUP, each showing Gary in its game.

  • The arcade has five free browser games: Stapler Storm, Escape the Standup, Fire the Overlords, Fire Exit and You Wandered Into Accounting.
  • The meme maker builds an office meme in your browser.
  • Ask the Superintelligence writes resignation letters and roasts fictional managers.
  • Break Room TV shows the live game and the cartoon show that runs beside it.
  • The trailer tells the whole story in 2:57.

None of them needs a wallet.

The QUIT Launchpad

Every profession gets its own rocket chair

Gary went first. The QUIT Launchpad is for everyone else: anyone can start a coin for the job they are quitting. Every coin gets a pilot in that job's uniform and its own page, with its rules and fees in plain words. Twenty jobs have their own pilot.

The nurse pilot. The chef pilot. The barista pilot. The waiter pilot. The builder pilot. The mechanic pilot. The courier pilot. The truck driver pilot. The delivery rider pilot. The warehouse picker pilot. The software developer pilot. The accountant pilot. The lawyer pilot. The call centre agent pilot. The cashier pilot. The hairdresser pilot. The security guard pilot. The cleaner pilot. The teacher pilot. The farmer pilot.

Gary is only the first walkout. The QUIT Launchpad turns our interactive show engine into a repeatable Solana token factory where every profession on earth ($NURSE, $CHEF, $TRUCKER, $TEACHER, $DEV, $LAWYER, $BARISTA) launches with its own live stage, bonding curve, and head-to-head SEND IT VERSUS arena.

Real-money launches open on 16 Nov 2026 at 21:00 Dubai. Until then the launchpad's games are open: THE SHIFT, standoffs, coin wars and the weekly cup run on sample coins and replays, for points, with no money, no wallet and no sign-in. Enter the launchpad, or read how the launchpad works, every fee included.

85 SOL GRADUATION

Standard bonding curve to Meteora DAMM v2

Every profession coin launches on a transparent constant-product bonding curve with zero presale. At 85 SOL, the curve graduates to Meteora DAMM v2 with permanently locked liquidity.

Where it stands: built. Every real-money coin is set to the 85 SOL curve, the move to Meteora DAMM v2 and the permanent lock, and the service that moves each coin across at 85 SOL is in its final tests. A creator may make a first buy in the same step that creates the coin.

1.25% FEE SPLIT

0.80% to creators, 0.20% to the $QUIT floor

Every swap across the launchpad carries a 1.25% fee: 0.80% streams directly to the profession coin's creator to fund their community, 0.20% routes to the $QUIT protocol treasury to back and raise the $QUIT floor, and 0.25% is Meteora's own share.

Where it stands: set. Every real-money coin is created with this split, on the bonding curve and in the graduated Meteora pool. Each coin's first two minutes carry a falling anti-bot fee, from 50% down to the 1.25% steady fee. Fees build up on-chain, and each creator claims theirs from the creator desk.

SEND IT VERSUS

Shift Battles and 24-hour Coin Wars

Where it stands: COMING SOON. Today the arena runs two-minute shifts for one coin, 30-minute wars between two sides and an eight-team weekly cup, and results award points, not money.

EX-EMPLOYEES and the airdrop

File 009: 9,000 people who quit, one collection

EX-EMPLOYEES is a collection of 9,000 pixel portraits of people who quit. On the badges floor you can run a trial exit with the collection's real odds, or build your own portrait trait by trait and download it.

For the final launch build, we upgraded our NFT collection from static badge cards to EX-EMPLOYEES v3 (symbol QUITEX on Solana Metaplex Core): a true 9,000-piece 1:1 square pixel-art PFP collection drawn on a crisp 96 by 96 pixel grid and exported at 1536 by 1536 PNG, plus instant 1024 by 1024 social PFPs for X and Telegram.

METAPLEX CORE

9,000 1:1 pixel PFPs

Locked three-quarter bust silhouette built specifically to read cleanly inside circular 40px X and Telegram avatars, with zero baked text clutter.

11 BUILDER LAYERS

Millions of possible DNAs

18 backgrounds, 11 bases (8 human skin tones and the rare Android, Hologram and Gold Statue), masculine and feminine faces, 14 outfits, 5 QUIT badges, 23 headwear options, 9 eyewear, 8 mouths, 8 facial hair, 12 held items, and 5 auras.

HOLDER DESIGN LOCK

1,000,000 $QUIT minimum

Hold at least 1,000,000 $QUIT between 19 Oct and 19 Nov 2026 to lock your exact custom design (up to 1,000 spots, one design per wallet).

5 RANDOM SNAPSHOTS

20 Nov 2026 airdrop

Holders can lock a design before the mint. Hold at least 1,000,000 $QUIT, sign in with a Solana wallet and lock one design per wallet, up to 1,000 locks, from 19 Oct 2026 at 21:00 until 19 Nov 2026 at 21:00 Dubai. Signing is free, and nothing is spent. The badges floor shows whether the window is open right now.

Five snapshots land at random times between the launch on 19 Oct and 20 Nov, and your lowest balance counts. If it stays at or above the minimum, your locked design is one of your EX-EMPLOYEES in the airdrop on 20 Nov at 21:00 Dubai. A wallet that drops below loses its lock.

NFT AIRDROP. Five random snapshots. Your lowest balance counts. 01 Snapshots: 19 Oct to 20 Nov. 02 Counted: lowest balance. 03 Never sold: double share. 04 Airdrop: 20 Nov 21:00 Dubai. 4,500 to holders. Split by holdings.

NFT AIRDROP. Five random snapshots. Your lowest balance counts. 01 Snapshots: 19 Oct to 20 Nov. 02 Counted: lowest balance. 03 Never sold: double share. 04 Airdrop: 20 Nov 21:00 Dubai. 4,500 to holders. Split by holdings.

Lock window: 19 Oct to 19 Nov 2026. Airdrop: 20 Nov 2026, 21:00 Dubai.

How the airdrop works:

  1. Five snapshots are taken at random times within 19 Oct 2026 to 20 Nov 2026. Each time is committed in advance as a hash and revealed after the snapshot.
  2. Each wallet counts at its lowest $QUIT balance across the five snapshots. The minimum is 1,000,000 QUIT, 0.1% of the supply.
  3. Wallets that never sold or sent $QUIT out between their first buy and the last snapshot count double.
  4. 4,500 of the 9,000 EX-EMPLOYEES are split in proportion to the counted balances, with no per-wallet cap.
  5. Creator, team, exchange, bonding curve and liquidity pool wallets are excluded.
  6. The airdrop is planned for 20 Nov 2026 at 21:00 Dubai. The allocation record is published so every holder can check it.

Dates to come: the iOS and Android public release, NFT alumni titles and portraits, NFT cameos in SEND IT, playable NFT characters, NFT scene proposals and voting, NFT merch priority, a physical billboard campaign and daily walkout quests in the Break Room. Public iOS and Android releases follow store approval.

Notices

Transparency, floor control and parody

Active floor defense and ecosystem alignment. $QUIT is built as an enduring entertainment and launchpad ecosystem where we will actively control and defend the floor through protocol treasury reserves, Company Store net revenue, and the 0.20% protocol fee share from every profession coin launched on the QUIT Launchpad. Where each of these stands is set out under Quitnomics and the QUIT Launchpad.

Satirical parody notice. All real-world public figures depicted in the show and artwork (including Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Scam Altman, and Dario Amodoodoo) appear strictly as satirical cartoon parody characters and have no affiliation with or endorsement of $QUIT.
