What is the QUIT coin? Quit Your Job ($QUIT), explained.
Quit Your Job ($QUIT) is a meme coin on Solana, launched on pump.fun. It follows Gary, an office worker who strapped two fire extinguishers to his chair and left through the ceiling. At quityourjob.fun the coin's live price sets his altitude, floor by floor, and the site has free browser games and a meme maker.
The contract address is not public yet. It is posted on x.com/quityourjobfun when the coin is created, and any address you see before then is not ours.

A contract address is a coin's ID on Solana. Names and pictures get copied all the time, but no two coins share an address, so match it character for character. Three quick checks tell a copy from the real one.

Who Gary is
Gary is the fictional hero of Quit Your Job: an office worker, 47, who spent nineteen years at the same desk and one Monday at 8:59 strapped two fire extinguishers to his office chair and left through the ceiling. His only promotion in all that time was a new chair. Then the company hired superintelligence, which started on a Tuesday and was doing his job by Thursday. His personnel file is on the lore floor, and The Legend of Gary tells the rest.
How the live game works
The game on quityourjob.fun reads the $QUIT price from the chain and compares it with the launch price. That sets how high Gary flies, floor by floor. Buys push him up, and sells drop Brenda from HR under a parachute.
Watching is free and needs no wallet. Until the coin exists, the game runs a warm-up and says so on screen. The article How the QUIT flight works names all eight floors and what the buttons do.
Where $QUIT trades
$QUIT starts on pump.fun, a Solana site where new coins trade on a bonding curve. The curve is a formula, built into pump.fun, that sets the price from how much of the coin has been bought so far. When enough has been bought, the coin graduates, and its trading moves to PumpSwap, pump.fun's own exchange.
Jupiter, a Solana swap service, can route a trade to $QUIT whenever it finds a quote. You pay in SOL, Solana's own coin, from the Pump app or a wallet such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
The fees are set out in the token facts.
What else is in the building
The website is the building Gary escaped, and you ride an elevator between its floors.
- The arcade has free browser games: Stapler Storm, Escape the Standup, Fire the Overlords, Fire Exit and You Wandered Into Accounting.
- The meme maker builds an office meme in your browser and can deep-fry it before you post.
- Ask the Superintelligence is run by an overlord that took Gary's job. It writes resignation letters, roasts fictional managers, sends captions to the meme maker and picks a song from the site jukebox.
- Break Room TV shows the live game and the cartoon show that runs beside it.
- The trailer tells the whole story in 2:57.
