Privacy notice.
Last updated October 19, 2026.
This notice covers quityourjob.fun, the website of Quit Your Job ($QUIT), run by an anonymous team that answers at admin@quityourjob.fun. The site's own code sets no cookies and shows no ads. Nothing it collects is sold or rented to anyone.
Every visit
Vercel hosts the site and processes requests for its pages and files. Hosting logs can include the requested address, the time, the response and details about your connection. Vercel controls the retention of these logs under the hosting settings and its own privacy policy.
What our server keeps, from high scores to community records, is stored with Upstash, a hosted database service.
What stays in your browser
These are saved in your browser's own storage and never sent to us:
- the memes you marked LAUGH
- your eject card: where Gary was when you pressed EJECT, and the time
- arcade scores kept on this device, with the name you typed, when a board says LOCAL
- your Fire Exit progress: best run, coins and missions
- your sound and volume settings, and which scenes of the show you have already seen, so they do not repeat
- a one-time elevator note for the next page, deleted as soon as it is read
The arcade also keeps a copy of its games in your browser so they play offline. The meme maker and the eject card draw their pictures on your device and hand them to your downloads or your phone's share menu, never to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
Arcade high scores
When a game's board says GLOBAL, your score goes to our server with the name you typed, the length of the run and a few game counts that show the score is possible. The name, score, run length and date are public. Weekly boards are deleted 21 days after their last new score. The all-time board keeps each game's top 1,000, so a score stays until better ones push it off or you ask us to remove it. The game counts are deleted after three hours. Names are 3 to 12 letters, numbers or spaces, so pick one that does not identify you.
Ask the Superintelligence
What you type into the help desk goes to our server so it can answer. When the desk reads THE HELP DESK / SAVED REPLIES, the answer comes from a set of ready-made replies on our server. Otherwise the server sends up to the last eight messages of the conversation to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the reply, and Anthropic handles that text under its own terms. We do not save the conversation, and it is gone when you close the page. Leave out your name, your workplace and anything else private all the same.
Limits against abuse
To stop floods and cheating, the arcade and the help desk count requests from each IP address. The address is kept only as a one-way code made with a secret key, and each count is deleted after about a minute, or after a day for the help desk's daily limit.
Telegram and wallet checks
Wallet checks run in the $QUIT bot. The official Telegram group is where the crew meets. This site's own Telegram service is off for launch. Telegram's own privacy policy covers use of Telegram.
Community features
The Break Room chat, the billboard, the corner office, live polls, the EX-EMPLOYEES design lock and the CALL IN line send what you submit to our server.
- Break Room chat. You sign in by signing one message with your wallet, so the request includes your public wallet address. Your chat handle, and the X link if you add one, are kept for 30 days. Chat lines appear publicly on the stream and are kept for one hour.
- Screening. Before a chat line, a chat handle or a meme post goes up, our server sends it to Anthropic, whose Claude model checks it for abuse, with up to three earlier chat lines for context. Anthropic handles that text under its own terms. A line that fails the check gets a strike, and strikes are kept for 30 days after the latest one.
- Billboard and corner office. A claim sends your public wallet address, a signed message and the X handle you enter. The same Claude model checks the X handle, and it appears publicly on the billboard or in the corner office while your slot runs.
- Community log. The last 1,000 claims, edits, reports and removals are kept in a log with the wallet address, the X handle and a one-way code made from the IP address involved. The log has no expiry date. Older entries drop off as new ones arrive.
- Live polls. A vote sends your choice and a browser session identifier. It is counted against a one-way code made from your IP address, so each address votes once. Your browser also remembers your choice.
- EX-EMPLOYEES design lock. Locking a design, or giving it back, uses your Break Room sign-in, so the request includes your public wallet address, and our server reads your $QUIT balance to check the lock minimum. Holder lock and holding-check records, which are your wallet address, your chosen design and the balances read, are kept until the EX-EMPLOYEES airdrop is complete and are not deleted automatically.
- CALL IN. When the line is open, the text or voice recording you submit goes to our server for review. A recording goes to a speech-to-text service to be written out, and Anthropic's Claude model writes the show's reply. Call records are kept for one hour. Recording asks for microphone permission, and calls picked for the show can be heard or read by other viewers.
The launchpad games
The launchpad is open for its games only. You play under a badge name you choose. There is no sign-in and no wallet, and the launchpad does not store your email address. We store your badge name, a random player id that your browser keeps, your game results, points and items, so the ladder and the locker work. To limit abuse we keep a keyed hash of your network address, not the address itself, for between one minute and one hour. Drafts you write in Start a coin stay in your own browser and are never sent to us. Coin launches and trading with real SOL open on 16 Nov at 21:00 Dubai, and this section will say what changes then.
The Partner Program
The partner card sends what you type into it: an email address or a Telegram name so the desk can reach you, your social handle and platform, the size of your audience, the posting mode you pick, the Solana wallet for your payouts if you give one, the partner who invited you, an optional note and the name of the door you ask for. We keep the card, with a one-way code made from your IP address, so the partner desk can check your handle and open your door. Cloudflare Turnstile checks each card for abuse and receives your IP address and a one-time token to do it. A card the desk has not confirmed lapses 30 days after you send it, and a rejected card 30 days after the rejection. A confirmed card stays until the desk releases it, which it does when you ask. An open door is public: its link and the handle it shows on the site, and on Solana its Jupiter referral account and the payout wallet it pays.
Other sites
When the GeckoTerminal chart frame loads, your browser connects to GeckoTerminal directly, under its own privacy policy. Buttons for pump.fun, X, Telegram or a wallet app take you to those services.
Deleting your data
Email admin@quityourjob.fun to ask what the site holds about you or to have it deleted, and say what to look for: the game and name on a high score, the wallet you used for a community feature, or the door on your partner card. What sits in your own browser is yours to clear. Vercel controls its hosting logs separately.
